As of September 2013 we operate 68 weekly services operating on 38 routes. Some of these services operate daily and others operate on a weekly or twice weekly basis. How it Works
OK Transport is 1 of 34 rural transport companies around the country, funded under the National Development Plan 2007-2013. Having identified that people who lived in rural Ireland were being dis advantaged by the lack of public transport, a nationwide iniative scheme was put in place. That initiative was then progressed by the Rural Transport Programme with the mainstreaming of services in 2007.Read More

Offaly and Kildare Community Transport Ltd (OK Transport) will now be known as Kildare – South Dublin Local Link.
These changes are part of a national re structuring process of the Rural Transport Programme, which see’s a merger of Offaly & Kildare Community Transport Ltd., and South Kildare Community Transport Ltd.
We hope that any disruption to our passengers or services will be minimal during the transfer period. Please be advised that all services currently delivered by OK Transport will continue and there will be no change to delivery by our contracted private operators. Passengers ringing our office to book their seats will now be dealt with by Michael Bell within our dispatch office.
The administration team within the Kildare – South Dublin Local Link office are as follows:
- Alan Kerry – Manager.
- Michael Bell – Dispatcher.
- Brenda Heavey – Promotions Officer.
